Kim-Ly Moynihan

President

Kim-Ly lives in Plandome Heights with her family. An art historian by profession, she is currently a stay-at-home mom to her two children. She loves DIY projects, themed parties and hunting for vintage treasures. This is her third year serving on the MPNC Board.

"I was instantly drawn to the MPNC for its friendly and fun atmosphere. This organization has served the local community for so many years and I feel very privileged to be a part of its tradition and continued development."

Andrea Deignan

Vice President

Andrea lives in Flower Hill with her husband and three children. She is the owner of AMD Designs and the Li Luxe Showroom in Roslyn. She loves hosting and planning events, cooking and date nights. This is her second year serving on the MPNC Board. 

"I love the group for its laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. I have met so many wonderful people that have become great friends. I am excited to see what the year brings!"

Jodi Cohen

Jodi currently enjoys life with her husband in Manhasset. After a long career in finance and accounting in Manhattan, Jodi now pursues her passion for real estate on Long Island. Her leisure activities include spending time with her two dogs, cooking, running, biking and travel.

"Being a part of the MPNC has enabled me to meet and socialize with a community that I would not necessarily interact with on a daily basis. I have developed friendships that make me feel completely at home in Manhasset."

Michan Fiore

Michan moved to Manhasset two years ago with her family. She is a Marketing professional and has two children. She enjoys family vacations, good food and networking. This is Michan’s first year serving on the MPNC board.

“I heard about the MPNC when I first moved to the area and decided to join to meet some new people. I really enjoyed attending the events and met some amazing friends along the way. MPNC made me feel very welcome and I hope to do the same for others.”

Madeleine Fersh

Ladies' events co-chair

Madeleine resides in Plandome Heights with her husband, three sons and wheaton terrier dog. She currently works as a psychiatrist at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, serving as a consultant on the medical and surgical floors. Her passion for music led her to singing in an a-capella choir in college and medical school; most recently, she has been learning guitar. This is her second year serving on the Board as Ladies' Event Co-Chair.

"I received such a warm welcome from the MPNC when we first moved to town that despite having a busy work and family schedule, I couldn't resist becoming involved in this fabulous organization. I feel privileged to be surrounded by women who are so dedicated to enhancing the community spirit of Manhasset!"

 

Marielle Fietta

Couples' events co-chair

Marielle relocated from Manhattan to Plandome Heights with her husband and three children during the summer of 2016. She is an Industrial Engineer and currently works in the Quality Control department of a retail company in the city. She has a passion for cooking and make-up and in her free time loves dancing and hanging out with friends. This is her first year on the Board of the MPNC.

"When we first moved to Manhasset I was researching ways to get to know people in the area and came across a flyer for the MPNC and decided to join. It was the best decision I made. We've met some great friends and attended fabulous events-- I loved it so much that I decided to be a part of the Board this year. The club is a great way of getting to know your community."

Benita Liao

Benita moved to Manhasset two years ago and lives with her husband, two children, and dog. She is an anesthesiologist who specializes in the care of children undergoing surgery. She enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, and traveling. This is her first year serving on the MPNC board. 

"I still remember how much fun I had at the first MPNC event I attended and how welcome everyone made me feel. I have made wonderful friends through this organization and it has built a community of people I am happy to call my neighbors. I am looking forward to another year of great events."

Andrew Fietta

After 8 great years in NYC, Andrew and his family traded in their metrocards for a new life in Manhasset.  A news editor by profession, Andrew currently balances overseeing his property management company and being a stay-at-home dad. In his spare time Andrew enjoys surfing, jet skiing, snowboarding and working on his truck. He and his family have quickly adjusted to this great town. 

"My wife signed us up for the MPNC and it was the best decision we ever made. It doesn't matter if you're new to the area or have lived here all your life--everyone is very welcoming. We have made great friends and attended some wonderful activities individually and as couples. I'm excited to be organizing the men's events this year. "

Arrwin Yip

Arrwin lives in South Strathmore with his wife Geneva (former Secretary of the Board) and their shih-tzu puppy Truffles. He works in technology and has a wide range of interests which include playing competitive tennis, theater and cars. Arrwin will be starting a Manhasset Car Club with the goal of bringing local sports car enthusiasts and owners together.

"I highly encourage all new Manhasset residents to join the MPNC. We moved to Manhasset four years ago and have been a member all four of those years. In fact, we attended our first event two weeks after we moved in. As the co-chair of Men's Events, my goal is to offer more events and opportunities for the guys to get together. We can't let the ladies have all the fun!"
